We are delighted to share more moments from the Pakistan Ireland Business Council (PIBC) Annual Dinner, a truly memorable evening celebrating the growing partnership between the Irish and Pakistani business communities.

One of the proudest moments of the night was raising €7,000 for The Citizens Foundation (TCF) Ireland, our official charity partner. The cheque was later presented at the TCF Ireland Iftar Dinner. The organisation’s work in education is truly inspiring, and its heartbeat in Ireland is driven by the tireless dedication of Dr. Kashif Siddiqui and Dr. Saira Kashif.

We also took the opportunity to recognise the outstanding contributions of our members. A special thank you to Angela Canavan, Hugh O’Brien, Damian Glyn, and Faisal Mirza for their continued dedication and support to the Council.

We were delighted to welcome Mubashir Ansari and Clifford O’Sullivan to the PIBC Executive Committee, whose leadership will contribute greatly to the Council’s future growth.

A particularly special moment was honouring our outgoing Chairperson Ronan Twohig, whose vision and leadership since 2019 helped build the Pakistan Ireland Business Council into a strong and thriving platform for bilateral trade.

We are also proud to formally announce Angela Canavan as the new leader of the Pakistan Ireland Business Council. The Chain of Office was presented to Angela by PIBC Chief Patron and Ambassador of Pakistan to Ireland, H.E. Mariam Aftab, marking an exciting new chapter for the Council.

Together, we continue to strengthen the bridge between Ireland and Pakistan through business, partnership, and community.
