As part of the Embassy’s student outreach and engagement efforts, Ambassador Aisha Farooqui participated in an orientation and welcome session at Dublin Business School (DBS). The event was attended by a large number of newly arrived students from Pakistan, DBS alumni, members of the Pakistan Ireland Business Council, DBS faculty members, and the management team. Over the years, hundreds of Pakistani students have received their higher education from DBS across various disciplines.

In her remarks, the Ambassador congratulated the new students on embarking upon an exciting new chapter in their lives. Referring to Ireland’s rich educational landscape, with its strong focus on research and innovation, she encouraged students to make the most of this valuable opportunity by fully immersing themselves in academic challenges and experiences.

She also advised them to take time to explore the local culture, traditions, and communities, while actively engaging with fellow students from Ireland and around the world.

The Ambassador assured the students of the Embassy’s full support and cooperation for any assistance or facilitation they may require during their stay in Ireland. She also thanked the management of Dublin Business School for organising such a successful and meaningful event
